Classes
Two Saturdays a month, then we dance.
One class, twice a month, a minute from Russell Square — and the Paciencia milonga starts the moment it ends. No experience needed, and no partner: we rotate.

How a Saturday goes.
The class runs straight into the milonga, in the same room. You can come for the class, for the dancing, or make an evening of both.

17:30–19:00
Class
Ninety minutes with Dana and Daniel. We work on the essence of the dance rather than a catalogue of figures, and structure it to be worth the same to leaders and followers.

19:00–23:00
Paciencia milonga
Four hours of dancing with DJ Diego Doigneau. Because it starts at 19:00, just as the afternoon milongas wrap up, you can carry the day straight through — and it ends early enough to catch a train home.

The group class
We teach the essence, not the shapes.
Our classes take apart the subtle, interesting parts of the dance — the embrace, the walk, how two people agree on what happens next — instead of collecting steps. Leaders and followers get the same amount out of the hour and a half, because the material is built that way.
Come on your own or bring someone. We rotate partners through the class, so nobody sits out and nobody is stuck.
Private lessons
The quickest way to move forward.
Sixty minutes, entirely yours. We work on whatever is actually holding your dancing back — which is rarely what you think it is. Flexible times, and the strongest possible complement to the group class.
Privates are taught by Daniel and Eleonora. Tell us what you want to work on and who you'd rather work with, and we'll find a time.
Who teaches
Dana and Daniel.
Dana and Daniel teach the Saturday class together — the same two people every time, so nothing has to be explained twice.
Daniel
Argentine, trained in Buenos Aires. Teaches the Saturday class, gives private lessons, and runs the Buenos Aires trips.

A minute from Russell Square.
Getting there — and home
One minute from Russell Square station on the Piccadilly line. Holborn and Tottenham Court Road are both a short walk, and buses 59, 68 and 91 stop outside.
We finish at 23:00 on purpose: there is still time for the trains out to Brighton, Reading, Cambridge or Oxford.
Come to the next one.
Book the class on Points of Tango, or write to us first if you'd rather ask something before you turn up.
